Been having this issue for a few years now on SAMP. Nobody had a solution :( - redvsblue - 2025-08-25
So, I play via laptop and wifi. I don't want to use ethernet or there's no point to a laptop.
However, what's happening is in order:
- I enter a server
- I spawn
- I disconnect 5 seconds after spawning
- The game attempts to reconnect me automatically
- The game reconnects me too quickly and doesn't realize that my original connection logged out
- I get an error message related to my name, while it's not about my name, but about the connection itself. My name is perfectly fine and working.
CONNECTION REJECTED: Unacceptable NickName Please choose another nick between and 3-20 characters Please use only a-z, A-Z, 0-9 Use /quit to exit or press ESC and select Quit Game"
To bypass this error I have to use VPN's and contact admins to whitelist me so they don't think I'm a ban evader. Which gets so freaking annoying.
Does anyone have a fix, or knows who I can ask? Help me out please.

Is it possible that nobody here ever played the pc release via wifi? :/ It's like I'm the only one to ever have this issue
