It is worth if you have high vision how to do things properly and budget. Only  5$ host you don't last long. Many don't understand it. 
Look in this topic https://forum.open.mp/showthread.php?tid=627 they all dreamed but ended up to fail.

They all want to own a community by themselves instead to merge with those who has funds to sustain a serious project.
