Desensitisation seems to occur in monotonous routines so change things up a bit and do something out of the ordinary.
Another thing I've realised is that everyone has a different social-alone ratio, some like 80% social 20% alone, some like the opposite. Takes time to figure it out but once you do, you can take advantage of knowing it.
And also, finally, it's okay to feel like shit and binge eat and watch youtube for 6 hours straight - as long as you're self aware and don't let it last too long. That's what I've figured out so far anyway! YMMV.
